Faith 417
Loneliness devotion: seen when you feel alone
Loneliness is real, and you are not unseen. Hagar named the Lord “the God who sees me” (Genesis 16:13, NIV). Faith 417’s seven-day journey, Seen When You Feel Alone, makes room for honest lament and then takes small, practical steps toward God’s people. Each day is about 5–8 minutes.
The seven days
- Day 1, God sees the lonely (Genesis 16:13)
- Day 2, Presence over performance (Psalm 139:7–10)
- Day 3, Honest lament is worship (Psalm 25:16)
- Day 4, One safe connection (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10)
- Day 5, Belonging in His family (Ephesians 2:19)
- Day 6, Serve your way out of isolation (Galatians 5:13)
- Day 7, Held, even when alone (Deuteronomy 31:6)
If grief is behind the loneliness, the grief comfort journey may fit this season. If loneliness has turned into thoughts of harming yourself, please call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.) right away.
