Faith 417
Walking in freedom: a Christian devotional for staying free in Christ
After a hard-won change, the old patterns can still pull. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul celebrates Christ’s victory over sin and death: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57, ESV). Faith 417’s seven-day journey, Walking in Freedom and Victory, is about living from that victory rather than earning it: standing firm in freedom, putting on the armor of God, renewing your mind, walking by the Spirit, and pressing on. It is not a promise of an easy or trouble-free life. Each day is about 5–8 minutes, with a reading, one truth, a short prayer, and one small step.
The seven days
- Day 1, Victory already won (1 Corinthians 15:57)
- Day 2, Stand firm in freedom (Galatians 5:1)
- Day 3, Armor for the walk (Ephesians 6:10–11)
- Day 4, Renewed mind stays free (Romans 12:2)
- Day 5, Walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16)
- Day 6, Testify and stay humble (Revelation 12:11)
- Day 7, Keep walking forward (Philippians 3:13–14)
