Christian devotion for fear: courage in His presence

Fear is not the end of faith. David wrote, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3, ESV), so trust can sit right beside fear. Faith 417’s seven-day journey, General Fear to Courage in His Presence, helps you name what you are afraid of, remember that God is with you, and take one small faithful step. Each day is about 5–8 minutes, with a reading, one truth, a short prayer, and one small step.

The seven days

• Day 1, Fear named is fear halved (Psalm 56:3)
• Day 2, He is with you (Isaiah 41:10)
• Day 3, Don’t borrow tomorrow (Matthew 6:34)
• Day 4, Perfect love pushes fear back (1 John 4:18)
• Day 5, Courage is obedience while afraid (Joshua 1:9)
• Day 6, Guard your inputs (Philippians 4:8)
• Day 7, Go forward in peace (John 14:27)
